the guy was on tv once.. that pic is old as ****.. it actually ran and iirc thats a railroad charger..

and he blipped the throttle once and blew both headgaskets..

Looks like a photo-chop to me. Awfully grainy right around the belt. . .

that thing just dont look right, lol! the torque that could be generated through that thing probably could push you through the seat!

NO! well its the smaller version, in the 55, the Merlin. that ONLY has 27 ltr, but he runs the suypercharger on it.. also there is a guy over here putting the tank version of the merlin into a car.

there are a few of these engine still knocking about. would be really nice to see one with this blower strapped on the top!

not sure how effective it would be but it would be cool! also red about unlimited race planes. they run these merlin engine to the limit. most are putting out over 3500bhp (not bad as they only rrev to 3800rpm!!). also they run about 140inch of mercury manifold presure (i think over 68psi!!!)! at these boost levels it take over 1000bhp to turn the SC! simple nuts! lol
