Default APS Twin Turbo Kit For T/a

I came across the APS TT kit, and i was looking at the install, and it looks amazing, but as i scrolled down the page i saw the dyno graph, and that didnt look so great, only 500hp on a twin turbo kit, that i am guessing costs around 7g+. What am i missing, i would think it would be around 750 to 800hp...?

a stock engine can only hold so much.... and 500 is about the line that you dont want to cross to ofar with a stock bottom end, so thats why they have that run on limited boost. You can always crank up the boost on that EXACT kit if your engine/trans/rear/fuel and keep up with it and 750/800 is no problem from it. Hope this helps.

They said was a tired old 80,000 km or mile engine and only did like 250rwhp stock.
Also not sure how their dyno compares to say a dynojet. It might read lower.

I am not worried in the slightest about the kit. Have one on order. It should be capable of 850rwhp max or so and if you think you need more than that well whatever. Try hooking up more than that! I plan on running likely 500 rwhp on stock engine for year or two. Then crank it up with a forged up 408 or 427. But really 500rwhp is about limit for traction on a street car on even nittos and not sure you want to run et street radials every day although some guys do.Just don't get caught in the rain!

Apperently you didnt read the 65+ Page thread in this section about that kit......

https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-induction/668393-f-body-intercooled-twin-turbo-system-preliminary-pricing-5495-inc-free-delvery.html

That same car dynoed 250rwhp on that same dyno Bone stock..... so id say 250 rwhp more with 8-9 psi is quite awsome...
Thats 27.7HP per PSI of boost....

Before you jump into that set-up.. be sure you read this.......

Thank you Very much for the info, i am new to the FI, before i wanted to go NA becuase i liked the idea of all motor, kinda old school, but when i did some reading into FI (TT set up) i became very intrested because it seems like there is no limit to it compared to NA.

Any books i should buy to get more information? Or anything like that?

all the info you could ever dream of is right here in front of you with that search feature when its working properly. and when you can't find something with the search all you have to do is ask and you will have answers in a couple minutes. Thank god for ls1tech. Good luck.

Good luck with the car though!
