Default What shop to spec out a turbo cam?

I'm looking for a good turbo cam and I'm having trouble getting ahold of a bunch of shops. I won't bash anyone here but 1 shop told me it would be a month, one has the main guy on vacation, one is only taking emails and one never called me back. I'm not sure what the normal time frame is on a cam but I'd at least like to get something ordered.

We can order you one anytime you like. Not sure if you tried our shop or not. We do alot of turbo cams and have some stuff that might work for you.

The motor is a low compression 408 that will end up with a single S88 or twin T67 setup over the winter. The car will be a street/strip setup with more street time. I would like a choppy idle also.

What type of manifold will you be using and size? Log, tubular, etc? Also what CR, heads, and what size exhaust?

You could go a ton of different ways with a cam for that motor. How big are the heads and manifold???? I think something like a 240 duration 600 lift 114lsa would do the job

vic jr intake, 72cc patriot heads for now. Probably 7000 or so redline....nothing too crazy. I'm thinking along with superz. I'd like something around 240ish. I know the setup could make nice power on a 230 or smaller but I like to be noticed.

Single pattern 240 duration on a 114 would be a great cam for that setup.

I've always used cam motion for my turbo cams and they do a great job. Everyone on here should be able to help you pick out a good cam though
