Default building a turbo ls1 (need some help)

hey, new to this forum...

anyways i just got my ls1 motor and i want to biuld it internally for turbo before i drop it in. so far i got two turbonetics t3/t4 hybrid turbos, two hks 40mm wastegates and a twin turbo intercooler.

does any body know of a company that sells a complete kit to completely biuld the motor for turbo, or if anybody could make me a list of exactly what parts i would need from what company to have a nice setup that would be efficent for a good 7-8 hundred horspower with 850 900ft. lbs. of torque and that could take a nicely high amount of boost without taking a dump on me. yes i am biulding a beast and i want to do it the right way from the beggining.

thanx a bunch i appreciate any kind of help

george

There is alot of guy's on here building high hp turbo car's. Depend's if you want a stroker or stock ci.Stock cube's you can use a stock ls crank,h-beam rod's and forged piston's.Any of the sponsor's to your right can help you out your decision's. Me personally, would choose a T4 exhaust housing's for your turbo's though. Hope this help's a little.

no, with a 346 and above you'll want the bigger housings. Too much backpressure will cause issues and not make power, choking the motor. You'll want to figure out some more goals for this car before you start ordering parts also, for example is it track only, street, ect?

Check out the sponsor page and type in your zip code. This will give you a list within your area so that you can see if there is a local shop/sponsor you would be comfortable with and they'd be easy to contact.

What was your last car?

look for built shortblocks from the sponsors...call some up and tell them what you want to do and they will figure out a setup for you.

What kind of car is it? fbod or swap car. I would recommend just rods in pistons in a ls1 with some boost and a decent tune. And as said what was your last car. You say you want 7-800 hp, have you ever drove a 5-600 hp car on the street. The search here works better than most the others I have used and have gained alot good info and avioded me making some mistakes. Not trying to sound like a A$$ but that would be alot street hp if your not used to it. But as markp03 said contact a local vendor and they should be able to set down with your budget and tell you how far you can go with it. Just my .02

No, not really. it depend's on the setup. I have 2 t60-1 and love them. I can daily drive the car and it is great, and when i want boost I floor it. I have full boost at about 3500rpm.Just depend's on what you want and your goal's.
