Default F-1A 427 l92 heads 219 cam 858 RWHP

I noticed a lot of discussion about L92 heads these days and made a post a week or so ago but it got locked because it referenced a for sale ad.

Anyway, the car is sold, but I wanted to share the dyno graph for those that might be interested in using l-92's for a high power build.



This was with 14psi boost 23deg timing and water/meth spray
12.0 Afr

The cam is a Dave's Total Performance 219/240 cam.
The heads were hand ported by DTP before assembly.

nice numbers. it looks like the power falls off like you are out of blower. Is that the case?

Thats a Cam drop or possible valve float. 219 intake is small for a 427ci.NA it probly peaks hp at 4500rpm.

running out of blower with an F1a??? strong!!


im gonna run stock l92's on my FI 402....just to see how' they'll do..

interesting, lets assume intake duration was some where in the range of 230 or 240 on the intake , would the line be flatter or keep pulling up ? or would he run itno another restriction like the manifold?
