Default Procharger Bypass Valve Question

Hey guys, I want to replace my stock procharger bypass valve with a good one. What is the best one? Does it clamp right in the old ones spot? Also is it louder? Thanks, Ryan

I have the Procharger race ready, it is sort of loud but not that bad. I suppose it would be louder if I had more than 11 lbs to blow off. You can hear whine/air movement going down the road and especially across bridges and places with something to echo off of. You would have to weld in a flange and short piece of tubing to run it, somewhere between your blower outlet and your intercooler. Wherever you want or can fit it. It is vacuum operated and has a 3/8 port. Its also adjustable. If you do a search you will find pics. If I remember right the flange and gasket comes with it.

Do you have this on your website? I only see the Vortech. Does this replace the stock one perfectly or do you have to change your hoses around?

no, it can't be bolted on. You need to weld it onto a pipe. Mine is welded to my plenum as you can see here:

I painted mine black tho...

The car will probly have to be retuned after a race bypass to.

If you want noise, add a blow off valve.
