Default Anyone have some old QMP turbo kit instructions or pictures?

Anyone have some instructions or install pictures of the old QMP single turbo kits? I've had one sitting in my closet for years now and started bolting everything up the other day. The instructions I have leave out a bunch of stuff and I was hoping someone might still have a copy of theirs. Anyone with some pictures of the front accessories would also help me out.

Thanks!

Chad

I bought my kit second hand off of this site years ago...can't remember the guys name, but he said it was one of the very first. It came with detailed instructions and pictures from a pdf file, but the section on relocating the front accessories is missing.

Do you happen to have a picture of the belt routing and tensioner/idler pulley mounting? Would save me some time if anyone has a shot of that.

Thanks for the help!!

I looked over your pictures a little more...Is that the idler and tensioner I see mounted under the alternator?

Thanks!

I've got plenty of hot rods and my red Z28 got pushed to the side for a while. I bought the car new and kind of chickened out on the cutting...plus all the extra work I'd have to do to get it turbo ready. The compression is nearly 11:1 and it already has a 4.56 gear in it.

I bought a dirt cheap hardtop 98 Z28 the other day...found a 216/220 ~.530 lift on a 114 Comp cam for $20 and put a set of the big combustion chamber 6.0 heads with the LS6 ports on it. Car already had a yank 3000 stall converter in it and I don't care to cut it up. Should be perfect. : )

Think I have most of the hard stuff done now...do you happen to remember how you ran the power steering lines? Kind of worried about those getting burned.

Thanks!

Looks like the bottom of the power steering bracket is hitting the wastegate pipe. Going to try and get in touch with Stainless Works like you said. See what they have to say...the ideas so far is that I'm missing a piece from the relocation kit, the stock bracket requires modifications, or I could have a one off turbo kit. heh..

Thanks!

Chad
