Winning streak broken, but new best e.t.
We went down to Ohio valley Sat. night hoping to extend the streak to 6 wins in a row with pretty much toasted head gaskets from pushing it so hard at Milan last weekend. We unloaded and went 5.12 in 1st round which is what we ran at Milan in Race Wars,so we put it up and sat out 2nd and 3rd round, nobody could touch it, the next quickest was a .26 and a few .31's.
We had a fairly easy 1st round and got a buy in the 2nd, in the semis it ran a 5.09@146 which is faster than our 7.81's 5.121/8th e.t. But in the finals the track got real cold and loose and it spun at the top of 1st and I had to pedal it some and lost going a 5.26 to a winning 5.24.
Doing head gaskets and putting the secret weapon on. Time to
start another streak!!!
Looking for a 4.99@150 in the 1/8th

I'm not exactly sure how to calculate what 1/4 time would have been but with just the 3 hundreth's it picked up to the 1/8th it would be a 78. So maybe a 75 or 76? Anybody else have any idea? I was definatley moving!!

And this 4.99 were looking for is going to be tested at Kil Kare, on a Thursday, or for sure the Sunday in October when ODRA runs at Kil Kare, right?
Steven, you've run your car enough to calculate the back half of the 1/4. When you were running a 5:20 best 1/8 mile at Kil Kare you were running around 8:20 same track.
When you dipped to a 8:08, at a different track, what was your 1/8 mile? Then you run a 7:81 what was your 1/8 there? My guess 5.0 to 5.1 something. Now you've run a 5.09 again. Full pas might been 7.8 or 7.7 because I think the car was already hurt before the 5.26.run.
Remember, I am old *** clown with a dog! I am more impressed how consistent you guys are with a tricky car. I've made fun of one time this is my greatest pass. I have no friggen idea how I did it. I'll never do it again but this is it. 6 wins is very impressive great job. Keep hitting those impressive trees and run that 4:99 to 5.09 and you'll have another streak and win some money.
You could run a track record 3:78 or 3:88 at Kil Kare and this board would never hear that from me. Jake and I are very happy to see you guys blowing your own horn at this page. When something is posted about the Ohio Boys it receives lots of reads. You guys are an example of small steps at a time to achieve results. Others here should try and follow your examples.....................
Done!! Good Luck
