Dyno tomorrow on T-trim 383. Any predictions?
She put down 501rwhp/470rwt on the 3rd run (with no cooldowns) on this same Dynojet last fall, with a Vortech S-trim and 7.2# of boost.
Since then I have upgrade to the Vortech T-trim, added another idler pulley right before the blower for increased belt wrap, and reinforced my tensioner. Now I'm hitting 10.9# at 6200 with no belt slip, and perhaps a bit higher beyond that.
I have retuned for the increased boost.
I am also going to lock up the 4L80E a little earlier.
Any predictions on numbers?
I'll know by about 1PM tomorrow.
Thanks,
Jim

550-575rwhp.
T-Trim can easily do over 825 crank hp, are you just looking for pump gas numbers?
My YSi did 752rwhp at 21psi a few years ago, 21 psi. Went 9.4 at 680rwhp and 18 psi.

I added a little race gas for insurance. I am spinning the blower to 53538rpm at 6250 right now, and will go to 6500 to see where the power drops off this smallish solid roller.
So I have been having a problem that has been annoying until today, and that is dieseling after shutoff. I didn't think an EFI car could do that because of fuel shutoff, but when I got to the dyno place, the car dieseled for like 20 seconds, and smoke was coming out somewhere (hood was closed). Very embarassing since it normally runs primo. Coupled with the dieseling, but with the car running, my idle speeds have been slowly creeping up to the point that I must have an air leak somewhere below my air door, because I've checked everything above. Now the car idles in neutral at like 1200 where it used to be rock solid at 780.
I'm going to pull off the manifold and check everything out.
On top of that, even though I rescheduled my dyno session with the owner himself, he didn't put it in the computer, so when I showed up he was like, I don't see your slot here at all. You'll have to wait a couple hours.
So I figure with the dieseling and the schedule screwup, it was a sign to go back home and check everything out.
It's a Ford shop anyways!
All advice welcome.
Thanks,
Jim
