Default What size stall for a turbo/superchared car?

Ok i would like to know what stall you guys are running with a turbo/supercharger.. Right now my trans is toast(just got my performabuilt stage 2) and now is the time for me to decide on a converter. (having minor issues with the clutch in the converter and deciding on an upgrade) In the future i would plan on running a supercharger or a turbo and looking for numbers around the 450-500rwhp mark. I know i can do that power na but already had 2 na cars with that power range and looking for FI for this car. So what stall would i need and not blow through it..

all depends on how the converter is made, My old N02 converter was a 4500 stall, i was spraying two stages totaling 600hp and never had an issue.

My new Chance converter for the turbo motor, should be stalled around the same amount but it will be build to handle 2000+hp

turbo and blower conversters are completly different... For a turbo converter i would suggest PTC or ulitamate.

I have this converter in stock for the 4L60E, in a 3600 rpm rating. We have found the Vigilante converter to handle the power of these cars a lot better than a lot of other manufacturers converters, as we have seen a lot of cars drive through (excessive slippage) the converters on our Mustang Chassis Dyno.
