? for Procharger guys
Ive searched, but could only find the answer for turbo guys. Im assuming that with a procharger you would also want a gear similiar to a 3.50, but wanted to confirm. So the question with a procharger would you want 4.11's or 3.50's? Thanks.

Running a stock long block with cam & headers - 4:11s & a 28" tire mine trapped 126 at 6500 with the 6spd but went about 7000 at 126 on the TH400. I switched to 3:50 gears on the TH400 & am trapping at 126-128 at 6000 now & ETs have improved. I think a 3.73 for my set up might have worked a little better. If you don't have a cam or at least upgraded valve springs a 3.50 might be good.

Turbos are load dependent so taller gears (lower numerically) can help spool. SC'ers are belt driven so you can set it up like an NA car...gear it for the 1/4 mile with rpm at the traps about 300-600rpm past power peak (Depends on how the combo holds power after peak)
If its street driven and a six speed 3.73s are typically a good choice on 26 inch tall tires....
