Default New BEST ET & MPH

Byron, Il 10-20-07 at Speed Inc track day. Great weather, track was working good, sunny. Only small bummer was a 15-20 mph head wind.

60' 1.29
1/8 5.321 @ 135
1/4 8.23 @ 167

That run was made with 23 lbs of boost. No meth, air to air.

I also have to thank Don Bailey for the tune up and all the follow up!
Getting the 160 lb injectors to run on the street was a chore!

Thanks guys! I'm happy with the results, I'm now back in the right direction. I did notice from my data that my converter is still slipping 18%, I think I'm going to try a Chance or PTC converter.

No vids, I'm a one man show. No water pushing, but it looks like I was leaking water from somewhere? Haven't checked into it. I don't think the scales were correct. I had a friend weigh it with him in it, he's 150 lbs and it weighed 3470, I'm 235 lbs. It seems heavy, not sure? Still copper gaskets. Tires were 10.5 et drag, stiff no w. It measures about 10.1" foot print.

Congrats on the new best, that's a nice improvment over the 8.6 you posted last week. It was a great day to be racing out there at Byron. I wish I got to see your car. I got there late and then had all sorts of problems but still managed to hit a new best also. Do you plan to go out any more this season? I would like to but I need a th400 first and no funds What tranny do you run? Converter? My stock 4l60e and ss4000 just arn't working too well with FI.
