Default STS 6 speed GTO goes 10.964 @136MPH w/ video!

I know this should probably go in the Drag section, but I've posted some of my issues and questions in here before and wanted those who responded to see how the car was coming along.

Here's the vid, it's not the best quality, hopefully someone else taped it too and will get it to me, but it's all I have for now.

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/b...cf0152f61a.htm

Here's the slip

I'm pretty happy... and I know there's more in it. I was launching at 4400rpm on MT ET Radials 235/60/15s... no spin. Motor is a forged 370, stock 241 heads, LS6 cam, custom clutch, stock gearing, TC76 turbo, 14psi... I'm thinking of swapping down to 3.07s over winter.

I think this also puts me in the top 3 trap speeds for GTOs.

Thanks!

Adam

Hmm, this is good news for me too! I was just talking to a buddy about how only a few 6 spd STS cars are running good times. This is good to hear. Are you launching off a 2 step? Also, what kind of fuel setup are you running?

No two step, just coming out around 4400 on the clutch. I think I can get down to 1.6s... just need some more practice, I only have two runs on the car with this clutch and tire.

That's awesome. I was cutting 1.8 60's on the 2 step. Now, I was pretty much spinning the whole time, so with traction I can get that down. But it's a lot easier with the 2 step!

What's custom about your clutch setup?
