Default Intercooler

I got a TRT intercooler to go along with my STS kit. I was wondering how the piping goes...a short pipe came with the intercooler that looks like it has a place for a blowoff valve, but the STS kit comes with a place for a blowoff valve on one of its pipes.

My question is, do I replace the section of STS piping with the section of intercooler piping and then run the STS pipe into the intercooler, or leave the STS piping there and use the intercooler piping to go from the intercooler to the intake manifold? What do I do with the piece of piping that has a place for a blowoff valve? I'm really confused.

Does it still work like this?

Hmmm maybe it isn't anything special. Judging by this pic, it looks like its a 3.5" mandrel bent pipe with a reducer on it. Didn't think I'd have enough clearance to do it, but it looks like they got it to fit with the stock radiator cover, and I should have another 1/2" clearance there or so, so I might be okay.

woahh ive never seen an elbow coming from the throttle body make a bend toward the passenger side before... its always like the standard sts intercooler where it goes under, back across, and up.

edit: well if you moved your battery..then i see this being possible. good luck!

Oh, no, mine will be going to the fuse box area, and my bypass valve will be facing towards the passenger side off the elbow. I was just curious how they got a metal elbow in there instead of the usual silicone one that you see.

Screw hiding things, I'm showing it off under there. I think the D1SC on a 3.7 pulley and the race ATI bypass valve will give it away anyways no matter how hard I tried to hide everything
