Default First Dyno on PTK setup 6lbs and new motor and Tranny

Well here is the key ingredients on my Car. Project is a street/strip setup. I already know I am going to have to move up turbo as it has a 76GTS. We just did a dyno pull for ***** and giggles til the new springs get here from JOSE(hurry and ship them badboys) I am happy with what it did. No timing on a 8.5 compression 408, with stage 3 patriot LQ9s, and a built 4l80E from Gearstar. Im hoping for over 700 rwhp on pump, but am planning on upgrading to atleast a S88, prob a S91. 495rwhp and 602rwtq at 4500rpm and levels out there. Its planned to be around 16lbs when we tune next. So glad to be back on the road. Hopefully if this spring make it here ill be tuned and at the track on Nov 9th.

BTW, a 76GTS on that big 408 will be tough to get high #'s. That thing is going to have some huge back pressure #'s. Becareful when you guys start tuning. Monitor those EGT's and backpressure if you have a way to do it. It can get ugly quick and will be hard to tune it with reversion.

we are monitoring the egts. We havent done anything with the timing. It basically had none when we tuned. And we never ran it up over 5800rpm. Im thinking the S88 or S91 will be a good fit. Im going to be cutting the front rad support so i can fit something bigger than the 76 in there. This is NOT the log ptk kit by the way guys. This is a intercooled setup. So we will see

If you can move the radiator forward a bit the S-series will drop right in.

Hey what's up Chris? What are you doing about the flange? Just cutting and welding a t6, or replacing that whole V shaped pipe that connects the two manifolds to the turbo? Is your car in Durham?

Yeah, its still in durham. Didnt have the springs til today should hopefully finish tune today or tomorrow for 16lbs. Going to move the turbo up into the battery spot and relocate that is the plan. I have RJ going to do the work on the flange stuff. (great work by the way). As soon as Kyle gets back to VA. We will start ordering some junk(S91). Im really going to let RJ decide how he works it on how is going to do the t6 flange, but i do know the battery is the best spot. How everything going for you bud?

whAT?? Is this a custom kit? Would have to scrap really ALL of the PTK stuff minus driver side manifold and intercooler... be kinda silly for the exhaust to exit the passenger side of the engine in the back, go in front of the tranny and crossover to the driver's side, snake up the driver side (as it is now) and then go in front of the engine to the turbo at the battery's spot

Sell the PTK setup to recover a little coin and just have a custom manifold kit made.

Most of the kit has been scraped together. At least 50% of the kit was redone by RJ for the custom intercooler setup, but either way. I got all winter to make it happen. First things first need to get a turbo here(plus bring my car home from Durham). Hey Kyle I smell a road trip coming. Lets see if we can find are favorite in the closet vette guy to go to

For your goal the smaller S85mm will work great. We have a 408ci/S85mm with a 4L80 and have hit 650rwhp at only 8 lbs of boost so far on pump gas in a truck.Full spool by 3000rpm too.

That does sound nice. Is that a t4 or t6 flange? The spring is in but not tested yet probrably today.
