Here is a few pictures of my station wagon headers and supports. They are for my gen 1 engine, but may give you a few ideas.
The support bars connect to the engine so the turbo's move with the engine, as this engine is on stock type motormounts to insulate vibration. I have two "hump Hose" connections on the intercooler to take up for that movement, as the intercooler is mounted to the core support.

to the side of the frame on the Pass. side.
Then using flex joints on the cross over piping.

On my C5 we replaced the radiator core support with a thumper turbo support.

piece of angle iron welded on each side of the chromemoly tube (under the turbo flange)

I don't with mine. I have flex joints on each crossover pipe.
