Default Windshield Washer Fluid

Yep, adding a meth/water injection set up to a modest boost daily driver. I know straight meth is the best but I would prefer to stick to a mix. I took a look at the local auto store and the percent of methanol was not listed on the washer fluid containers. Just the freeze level. The best I found was good to 20 below. I am guessing colder climates might have lower temp. rated fluid? Anyone know the approximate percentage of meth in the 20 below product?

The percentage of methanol is about 38%. I've used washer fluid in my other car for about 3 years. The colder temp fluid has more methanol, but beware of anything that is not blue - you DO NOT want fluid with additives.

My friend uses washer fluid mixed with a bottle of iso-heet and he runs it on a roots style charger.

Better off buying straight meth and mixing it yourself than using w/w fluid. It's not going to be consistent from brand to brand, and probably even buying a bottle every couple weeks the mixture will be different.

I am not sure that mixture consistency will effect me that much? I use a mail order tune and it is safe fat. I am more interested in the cooling effect rather than add more timing or a different fuel curve.

For the life of me I do not understand why someone will nickel and dime on an gallon of methonal( $2 vs $5 ) on a $5K to $6K FI kit. There is no point in doing a mix unless you are just being a cheap ***.

Cheap *** me is using the stock washer fluid tank and driving it year around. I guess I could just meth down the windshield and roof as I drive down the rainy road with a dirty windshield?

Any good methanol kit will come with its own pump, reservoir, line, and wiring.
