Default Comp is 10:75 to 1 pro & cons of turbo vs nit

Just finishing installing new heads & cam. Heads are PRC stage 2.5 5.3L cnc ported 225cc & Cam is a Torquer 2 232/234, .595"/.598". Over 400rwhp.

Would like input of ProCharger vs. a good Nit. set up.

Appears my comp of 10:75 to 1 may be too high for a turbo set up.

Looking for a super mean street driver.

it'd be perfect for nitrous, nitrous loves compression. You'll have to redo your whole setup for a blower.

you can run a blower but maybe push 5-6 lbs at most on pump gas which aint worth it.

well if you added 6 lbs of boost you would be adding 150 rwhp now ask yourself if its worth it. You would be putting down over 550 rwph on pump and not have to mess with nitrous refills.

i say do it with high CR... im gonna take a shot at running about 12:1 CR with a 408 and d1sc and see what happens... of course this is a race car but i feel like with the right cam the midrange and topend will be killer.... i'll be using a domed piston and some AFR heads.... with probaly 110 or 112oct....
