Stock heads VS Ported heads
Me and some friends were talking about ported heads on a turbo application. He stated that you can use stock flowing heads to make good power.I stated that a set of ported heads along with a L76 intake will make more power and make less heat because the air wont be chocked down from the restriction of the heads & the path the air has to go in the stock intake truck LQ4.If all is even he says stock LQ4 heads, cam and intake would make more power than my combination of L92,L76 intake and a GM hot cam .I say my combo will be better. It would be about 10 lds of boost. The bet is just a burgur at lunch but I wold like to win.He says about 500hp,Isay about 550.Fill free to chirp in.WE bust each others stones every day so enjoy the fun.

Take a straw and blow through it. Now take a bigger straw and blow through it. Which flows more air? Same thing with ported heads. Effectively a larger and more streamlined flow.

Lets say both motor A and motor B and both running the same setup and PSI
But A has a ported head, and B is stock
A is going to make even more power than B with the same PSI
