Which cam for a vortech blower?
So Ive decided to put more money in my car lol. I currently have a 02 z28 with a v9 gtrim blower. Im running a hooker cat back exuast and few other minor mods. Im planing on having headers installed next week.
My question is I would like to add a cam, but Im a uncertain where to start. What recomendations do you have? On vortech site it states to go mild. Any thought?
Thanks

218/224 would be a good street cam, a 224/230 is nice too, but it shifts the power band up.
depends where you want the meat of your power to be.
I have a 2.65 pulley and belt if you want to run a little more boost. you may have to use a spacer with it.
Run Jet hot headers with a offroad y pipe, you should pick up 20-30 hp.

Try Speed Inc. they have some new blower cams out I believe ,EPP has a nice blower cam available. EPP's blower cam is one of the more aggressive grinds I've seen for an off the shelf cam and don't forget Futral Motorsports, I believe they have 2 different cams out. You just have to scroll through them carefully otherwise you'll overlook them.
