Default help with overheating

Hey everyone I'm kinda new here to this board and know that you guys have tons of helpful info. Quick rundown on the car: I have a 00 TA and I just had it totally redone. Forged 396CI with AFR 205 66cc, D1SC,headers,tranny work and then some. My question is this: the guy that built my car is tuning my car before I break it in. He's having trouble getting the idle just right.. It idles rough for the first couple mins and then starts idling fine. The most important thing he noticed and I'm wondering how to remedy this is the car showed 245 degrees after 4-5 hrs of moderate to heavy driving while tuning. I know with the D1SC kit it only has one fan. Do I need a larger core radiator and water pump and extra fan? Thanks for any input

We don't normally see the single ATI fan being a problem unless we're driving in a lot of 100 degree heat. One thing to check for is that the fan is drawing air through the radiator, and not blowing air into it. It is easy to wire the fan up wrong. Bob
