Default cam? COMP verses CROWER

Alright guys, first sorry for the spelling LOL!! After contacting COMP CAMS they recomended this cam for my 364 tt setup which i did not like just for the fact you want the exaust valve to stay closed a little longer and this is there cam,Its 220i 220e 532 i 532 e at 114. I Know after contacting CROWER CAMS they recomended 226i 217e 575i 553 e at 114 I dont know about you guys but it seems the CROWER cam is more of a turbo cam and actually took the time to explain why these numbers were good for my setup and how it would help my turbos spin up faster! Now after talking with both campanys Im sold on CROWER What do you guys think of this CROWER CAM as compared to the recomended COMP cam?????????COMP

You are forgetting the single most important aspect.

What do you want from a cam ? What rpm's do you want to use. How do you want it to idle ? How do you want it to perform say 800-3000rpm. Is it Auto or manual ?
Do you need to pass any emissions checks ?

You could almost ignore top end power production, as thats going to happen with virtually any camshaft. Its everywhere else that might be affected badly by a wrong cam choice. Although if you stick with a relatively mild cam, dozens of profiles will be right for you.

?? I'd trust what a cam company has to say when spec'ing a cam out for a specific application. Our sponsors also have great advice when it comes to spec'ing a cam too.

On a 408..if you want a little lope.

You could try EPP's FI cam. Its a tad larger than the ones above.
