Default Help picking turbo/turbos

Just looking for some opinions. Here's what I'm building:
67 Chevelle SS396 car - 12 bolt - Trans is still undecided
2001 LS1 motor .030
stock crank
forged rods & pistons
I'm right at 8.6 to 1 compression
Heads are some worked over truck heads 2.02/1.57
Comp XER cam -
Part number: Custom Grind XE-R 3724/3722 Lobe Masters
Operating Range: 2,000-7,000 RPM
Duration @ 050" Lift: Intake 228, Exhaust 224
Advertised Duration: Intake 277, Exhaust 273
Valve Lift with 1.7 Rockers Intake .588, Exhaust .581
Lobe Separation 115 +4

Already have FMIC and some 83Lb injector from previous planned build. I will be running truck manifolds so twins would be fairly easy. Car will be driven to shows, cruises and most likely some trips to the track. I want something more street friendly.
Looking for some experienced inputs as this will be my first turbo project.

Thanks in advance

twin To4e/t3 stage 3 wheels and probally a .63 or .84 a/r turbine housings with a .60 or .70 a/r compressors. These are not the best turbos on the market but Would be a good economy choice. They can be found brand new for 600 ish. IMHO a big single would be cheaper, maybe a TC76MPS which is around 1200. with single you have one wastegate, one set of oil lines, one set of cold side pipes,....ect..ect.. But in a show car twins can look more balanced.

EDIT: after looking at your cam I would say def go for the .84 or even .96 (if you are going to run this thing up to 7k rpm).

What kind of power are you looking for???

A TC76 will get you 750-800rwhp on a stock cube engine. Above that we have plenty of other units to fit your build. As for twins they can be done, but try to stay away from T25/T3 units. You don't want backpressure problems once you try pushing the engine hard if you plan to.

I don't have any specific HP levels in mind. I had a GT42 with a .94 or .96 that I had bought before but sold it before I got to use it. I would be happy in the 600-700 rwhp range...but who wouldn't :-)

The TC will spool like a raped ape and make those #'s easily. Also MUCH easier to package then a GT42 would be.
