How did everyone relocate the alt?

Default How did everyone relocate the alt?

How did everyone relocate their alternator to clear the truck manifolds. I saw people said there were kits, and some said it could be made, but I haven't found any kits or seen detailed pics of the brackets if they were made.

i'm not using truck manifolds but smokinhawk makes a kit, PM him

i used a truck alt. bracket and cut the bottom half off that usually holds the ps pump on...dont have ps either.....barely had to notch the bottom of the hood support brace...but it cleared....probally a better way but it worked

We made our own.



Plasma cutter, SS sheet stock, tig and DONE.

@3/8th Thick SS, two combines thinner sheets.

i dont see where you had to TIG either
The thinner sheets were tig'ed together, very cleanly

what are the chances of me throwing you a couple bones for a paper template of that?
No bones needed. I'll get back to you, once I located the one I had.
