Default turbo repair?

I need to have my gt42 76mm turbo repaired, I know that the bearings are gone, compressor wheel needs replaced and it may need a compressor housing to.

can I get the parts and do this myself? If not who should I send it to and what do you think it will cost?

I do my own work, unless I don't have the tools to do it. I would rather get the parts and build it myself. Where can I find the parts is anyone a dealer?

Call over to Precision Turbo and talk to Matt in repairs and see what he says, he's a cool guy and a racer.

You'll need more than a rebuild kit,if it touched I promise when you tear it apart it will need a rebuild kit, thrust collar and new compressor wheel and if it touch more than likely have to refinish the compressor cover to make it perfect,a balance is a Must and I'm pretty sure Precision will not sell the rebuild part to the public or to other turbo companys, besides www.forcedinductions.com
will probably rebuild it,cheaper than you can buy the parts anyway. Thanks
