Eh, the stalled 400 and 9" kinda hide the power, but I just want her to scoot......and not break. I have a bad *** suspension set-up on my car and I haven't had any seat time to dial her in! Damn shortblock spun the mains before 3k miles and only had about 4 or 5 passes on it.

I need this pig to pull tire on the pavement

Sounds like once she's dialed in it won't be a problem if you hook, what tires you running? Does the 400 got a transbrake? Nice setup, should make some nice times no prob

Yea, the 400 has a brake and a RMVB. I run a 28x10 MT ET drag slick but am thinking about running on the the ET street radials this summer. Won't have to be so worried driving around town on cruise night if there might be some action on the late night

I also have a set of ZR1 wheels for my real street driving. I usually keep junk sumitomo rubber on them because the spool chews them up so fast.....but I might pucker my cheeks for the new MT 315/35 drag radials. It would be fun to wax some people on a true low pro street tire.

Not sure exactly. I just know I sent mine in about a month ago for the race cover swap, and they said they also ran some new CNC program on it. I guess it helps the oiling and in return helps spool. Not sure how "new" it is, as I have had my ST80 for almost 9 or 10 months I would imagine.

I was shooting for Feburary, but I think March would be more realistic. The pistons should be at my door mid January, and then the assembly will start.

hmm......I got mine way back early this year too. Weird your cover looks smaller actually than mine, I thought the race cover would be larger.

Sounds like its gonna be a badass setup, looking forward to the videos

I would say that the cover is about the same size. For whatever reason the pic makes it look small. My camera always does weird things.....probably user error lol.

Shooting for 9s on pump gas (with meth of course).....and daily drivable.

Glad to see your sticking with it Ninetres! Should be even better this time around.... Your doing one thing right though, when it breaks you keep building it bigger and better than before!

T5 blanket. You know I'll be in Sac (and Famoso) this year. My turbo is just a gravity feed to return oil. Most likely, the old motor spun the mains due to improper machine work on the main lines. Search my threads for "My motor is seized", it gets juicy towards the end

Should be a bad *** setup.
Mine will be very similar 370/S80/PP317's/9"3.08/th400

Not sure what injector to go with yet, if I can get away with a 70lbs I think it may even get decent gas millage.

If they would have had that ST80 when I bought my S80 I probably would have went that way.

What kind of converter are you going to use?
