Default 408 + twin 76mm or F2

This isnt that importaint as this is something that wont happen for a while, but can a well built 408 spin 2 76's? And what combo would probably make more horses a F2 or the twin 76's, both combo's probably make welllll over 1000 hp.

go with the twins, but unless its just a race car i would run twin 67's,we put a pair of those on an ls7 and made over 1000hp on pump gas.

the GTS T 76 is rated at 1100 alone

I would think you could get close to 1500 at the wheels with 2 of them

I was thinking about 71's actually... my frend said 76's would be nasty but for the street its alot idk how much you could make with pump gas and 71's thoo. Also the Ls7 has 19 more cubes so that helps it a bit. what about the procharger?...

I believe, from procharger, an F2 series will max out 1400-1600ish... I think thats crank HP too...

Hardest part would be finding a setup to the damn belt doesnt slip/ break...

**** look at tiagos set up, pretty much a straight street set up. hes running twin TC76's but on a 427. he did 1090rwhp with some MP70's, i dont think hes been on the dyno since his new setup but he will probably hit in the neighborhood of 1300. i think

Throw an F2 on there with a chain, not a belt.

One thing to keep in mind is that for a street car, 800 rwhp and 1600 rwhp is just about the same thing. Unless you have the suspension and tires to put the horsepower to the ground, the two will spin the tires just the same

Sounds like most of the panzies in my area, especially this one kid with an 03 Cobra, all want more and more horsepower, and none of them even think about suspension upgrades or rear upgrades.Sorry if this was a hi-jacking of this thread.

don't listen to the naysayers....I didn't, and my car went like that bat out of hell that you've head about all of your life.

twin 76's aren't for panty waists though. I ran twin 76mps's from forced inductions on my 402. they worked extremely well. full boost was in by 4200 rpms. the 76's are in their max eff range on a 402 with a big cam and great flowing heads. run them and wave bye bye to the turbo "experts".
