Default Low compression 408rwhp?

Ok built my 408ci motor I am looking to see what it should be on rwhp or will I be disappointed.

Setup
408ci 8.5:1 compression (Built for turbo in a few months)
Patriot performance stage III LS6 heads
Custom Cam. 231/226 601/591 115 lsa
Victor Jr intake
Bigstuff3

Exhust is stock manifolds and 3in back from there. (Not worth getting headers since I am getting a custom turbo kit done )

All through a Th400 with 3800 stall.

I am hoping for atleast 450-500rwhp. Am I able to do that being this is a low compression motor built for a turbo?

With the th400 i'm thinking you'll make around 350 rwhp on a dynojet, just the nature of the trans, and a dyno.

decent sized stall, average sized cam (maybe small for a 408), stock manifolds and auto = low rwhp especially on low compression

Anywhere from 365-390rwhp is what we have seen.

That setup with AFR or ETP heads we see anywhere from 450-480rwhp through 6 speeds. Then we double it with boost. With a T400 it could be 350-480 depending on how the verter works.

Ok cool it will be a mustang dyno so 350rwhp. O well once motor is broken in I will get numbers. Then turbo kit time I have heard auto read low anywayz

408 with stock manifolds is severly choked and top it off with low compression there would never be 450-500 rwhp. I have seen people not even make 500 rwhp with full exhaust and high compression.

Oh a mustang dyno... lemme restate my guess, 290 RWHP I have first hand experience with a TH400 setup on a Mustang Dyno. Made 470 RWHP uncorrected and ran 10.5 @ 130mph @ 3850lbs.

There is no point in worrying about the "HP" number though as it doesn't mean jack **** unless you are using it to tune the car. The race track is the only dyno you need to tell you your horsepower.

I found some throw away headers. Pacesetters for $280.00 Shipped to the door brand new so I will be ordering those tommrow and that will get me by till that time

Someone told me that my 408 would go lean with the type of cam and running stock manifolds I have due to how much air my motor is moving and can not escape. Not sure how true it is.

Last question. will 30lb injectors be fine for N/A? I have 160lb but there for my turbo setup. or if I try E85 with N/A

Just curious why you are so worried about the #'s if you are putting a turbo kit on it?? My motor made 400rwhp,but just wait till you put the turbo kit on,you will be greatly surprised.
