Default question for sts snorkel kit users

what size is the the sts snorkel kit? I'm trying to figure out options for better protecting my air filter on the SS by either relocating or making a better shield for it.

Thanks

The diameter of the tube matches the turbo inlet; 3 or 4".
Do you have the shield that comes with the kit?

Yes I got the shiled. I think the major problem was I needed to re-scotch guard the precharger. The problem is that the filter I got was conical and about 2 inches longer than the shield so it is more exposed to water.

we have used the shield and filter from STS and if clocked right it works very well unless its raining like hell.
If your filter is sticking out I'm sure your getting a little water in.
