just updated my gallery with pics from this weekend.
We cut some of the factory radiator support, got the radiator in, we made lower brackets, to hold it, we are also going to get a sheet of aluminum over the top of the radiator for an upper bracket.

We also got bov done, got the wastegate done, and got the 02 bungs welded up.

For the most part its all smaller stuff from hear out.

To check out pictures go to www.sidewayz.net/turbota

and check out the last link 2-9-08 for the newest pics.

Thanks, Chris

If you look through the gallery you can see the bracket on the bottom side. In all honesty, we didn't think we needed any. All we did, was make 90's out of 1/4 inch thick 1.5 inch wide flat iron. We cut then, made a hole with a uni bit. Placed it near end tank of rad, drilled through the bottom part of radiator support, put a bolt with washer's and locking washers, and nuts on the bottom. We then got some outdoor 1.5 inch wide sticky foam crap, that is actually for a boat. Its weather proof, heavy duty shock absorption stuff. We are gonna put that stuff everywhere the radiator may touch metal, like brackets.

The top piece you see in the pick for now just folds over. That is temporary with some aluminum laying in the garage. We are going to get a sheet 24 inches long, that will do the same thing, but cover all of the radiator except the end tanks. We will have to cut down the 24 inch piece a little to do this.
We are then going to put stainless steel alens, with washers, through the alum, and the little bit that is left of the stock radiator support, and a locking nut on the bottom. 3 or 4 should do the job, and look good.

We should get all that stuff done the next time we go out there, but no work will get done next weekend. Were taking a weekend off, and im waiting to get my ecu back, and fuel pump/ injectors, and then with any luck maybe get the car started near end of month....

If you have any other questions let me know. When we get it all done, i will put up better pics, but right now its just temp.

Thanks, Chris

Thanks. I told you i was gonna do alot to it. I just wasn't planning turbo @ the time. I always forgot what kind of springs you had on there.

They will get changed for some drag stuff sooner then later.
Also i will try to get a dyno/street video once it gets tuned. I Will definatly let everyone know when that happens.

When we started we were thinking get the car tuned end of march early april. First track event we are trying to get it is end of apirl, shouldn't be a problem.

Yea, we are ahead of schedule. There is alot left to do, but alot of small stuff.
With any luck the car may start for the first time by the end of febuary...
Texas speed is supplying a mail order tune that is super safe for like 2-3 psi, on 60 pound injectors. We then hope to get the car running, work out any small bugs, and then get it to the shop its being tuned at.

When ever it gets done, it gets done. No rush, but damn do i want to drive it.

Well its all come from several different places. The flanges for the exhuast manifolds are from stainless works. I emailed them, and asked for them in mild steel, they are a great company to deal with. They are a sponser as well.

THe part numbers for those flanges are
FLNGCDH
FLNGCPH

All the stuff for the wastegate and bov i got from a local shop that got it for me. Since tial does not include this... I think they may have got it from there vendor for PTE turbo's but those can be found anywhere. They also threw them in when i bought the wastegate and bov.

The 2.5, 3, and 4 inch pipe, along with 02 bungs, t4 flange i got from a non sponser so if you want a link send me a pm and i will get it to you.

Thanks, chris
