Default Whipple 2.2L

My old whipple 2.2 on the work truck sounds like it is crushing a box of rocks after 140K miles of use. I just got the tracking # for my new replacement (supposedly upgraded design) unit. I guess next week I will find out if they really made any improvements. I was just going to have the old unit rebuilt, but can't afford that much down time on the work truck. I guess I will have to find something to do with the old unit.

2002 silverado with the 4.8L motor. The truck had 120k miles when I put the blower on. It now has 262k miles. I am only running about 7-8#'s of boost.
