Default Solid motor mounts?

What are you guys running motor mount wise when solid mounting a turbo?

I mounted my turbo to the frame and used flex joints in my tubing. Just wondering if it is going to be too much movement and wear out the flex joints. I already have poly motor mounts but am considering solid. What do you guys think?

I use flex joints in the charge pipes if solid mounting the turbo to the frame. Using poly engine mounts doesnt hurt eigther.

Home made solids on both sides. I was surprised that there is no vibration from the engine.

Solid mounts puts the power str8 to the ground if you can understand what i mean. There is no loss of power due to vibrations or any weird movement as a result of the engine moving while its WOT. Solid mounts do a great job and you can really feel the power being put to the ground. Poly mounts are a good medium because they allow some flex when the engine torques but still nothing like stock mounts. And with poly you will get less vibration (if you have any from the beginning). Im alil scared of solid mounts too for the harshness i think they might cause but i think i might go with them anyways so i dont have to worry about stuff moving around.

I was a little nervous about the solids too. I can't tell the difference in vibration really. I did use a poly trans mount. I would have no problems DD the car. Now the locker is another story.

I DD with solids, go solids most definitely...they make you feel much more "connected" to the car. It is a hard feeling to describe.

+ one this, might have to reconsider this. I was told otherwise about them though

To the guy who said locker, would you rather have the spool? Or are you referring to a truetrac? I haven't decided yet but will be ordering shortly and my research tells me the truetrac is garbage after 600rwhp so thats pretty much out of the question. Don't want to get off topic but I want to be as streetable as possible since thats where it will be 99% of time, thanks.

I run the Spohn's and they are wonderful...even dropped like 8 or 10 lbs. Only problem is they have to go because of my new k-member so they are for sale soon.

exactly, its hard to explain but "feel" great performance wise. I think solids it is, and i get to lose some weight too so thats always a plus in a heavy automatic turbo car
