Default Turbo and MS4

Im planning on going with FI and I have decided I want to go with turbo.

I'm gonna keep the ms4 and 5.3L heads but what would be a good setup to put some power in the low end, how big of a turbo should i get to keep some balance with this cam?

And its a DD

Thanks in advance.

MS4 has a bit too much overlap for a proper boost setup.

Well I can definitely tell you're knew to this part of the game. There's nothing that will "balance" that cam aside from some juice. Lots of overlap, means no power with boost. Throw in a stock cam and make a ****-ton of power.

either use a stock z06 cam or like a lingenfelter gt11 cam.... the ms4 is only an n/a cam, or a positive displacement supercharger cam. (that is the application that I will be using it for with a 112 lsa)

im not 100% sure...but arent the 5.3l heads used for high compression making it more boost unfriendly?

Just from experience I wouldn't do it, I ran the MS4 in my FI application for awhile just to see what it would do, it bled off so much boost up high, now that I swapped cams I am finally getting the potential out of the turbo, I love the sound and all of the MS4 but in the long run I needed something more friendlly.
