Injector Size for F1A Procharger 14-16#
Hey guys had this in fueling + injection section but wasnt getting any input:
What size injector would you guys recommend for the following setup. Ive heard some people say 60s will do and some say that 60s will not be enough. Any opinions are helpful, Thanks guys
383 LT1~9.0:1
-daily driven
-Advanced Induction Trick Flow 215cc heads and ported/polished LT1 intake
-blower cam
-F1A Procharger with big front mount intercooler
-14-16 psi

Should post up that the fuel system (pump, lines, regulator) is also going to be upgraded to support the blower.......just not totally sure on how it is going to be done yet tho (single pump vs dual, sizes of lines, etc.).

I am running similar boost levels on my 8.8:1 CR, 383 LT1 with my D1SC, and have 60# Mototron injectors that work great for me.
You might want the next sized bigger injectors though just to be on the safe side. Not sure what the next size up from 60#'ers are that you can get. Maybe 72#ers?

The stock fuel lines should be fine for your potential power levels. Not usually do the lines become an issue until past the 750-800 RWHP mark.

We also have 60 pound injectors in this 757 rwhp T/A.

The duty cycle of the injectors will be just fine in this horsepower range as long as you have a supporting fuel system. Bob

For the rest of the fuel system, I would highly reccomend a dual in tank Walboro system, and some form of aftermarket fuel regulator. Most guys (including myself) have done this with great success.
