Fired and tuned before the snow falls...Looks like I need to bring over a couple of cases of monster and a skid of Newkies to get us moving!
Remember our formula: Monster + Newcastle + work = HP!

You got that right Dave!
I might be dodging a few snowflakes when it is finished which is fine by me.
It won't be the first time the car has been on the street in winter.
I just hope to get it finished before the salt on the roads makes driving it out of the question.
We were going to buy a car trailer anyway right?

BTW, regarding the thin deck L92 heads... We made 22psi with a PT101 and we got 2 drips of water out our overflow last Saturday. Unfortunately high gear in the PG didnt cooperate. We did coast to a 9.12@116 though

That is awesome Frank, nice run coasting the last 300' !!!
Sorry for the slow progress guys, I have not had much time to play with the car lately. It has been a crazy year to say the least.
I was able to finish up the driver side wastegate today.
What do you guys think about the placement?
Being my first turbo build I want to make sure everything is 100%.
I will pull everything apart tomorrow to finish the welding up, and then I'll send the hot parts off to the coater this week.
Now, it's on to the fuel system and wiring while I wait for all the stuff to get coated.

Lookin' good Jim. I need to free up some time to give you a hand drinking your beer. Sorry, that should have read to help you with the car. The hands have a mind of their own sometimes when typing. Final welding, wiring and fuel system and she's ready to fire!

I may be wrong but they seem to be the same as the LS2 manifolds from a C6. I have a set off of a 2005 C6 and they look just like those. If this is the case then I would think they may be easier to find. I hope this helps...
My very first new car was a 79 Z-28 and I thought I was the ****, back then. I've changed my attitude since.
And but the way nice twin-turbo build...

Sorry for for the slow progress, this year has not afforded me much playtime with the car.
Anyways, I finally got the hot and cold side all welded up. Now I just need to clean up the welds and send it all to the coater while I finish the fuel system and wiring.
BTW- the Meziere pump is for sale !!!

It's a miracle !!! An updated post.....
I got the hot parts back from the coater and everything is back on the car for the final time, thanks Dave!
The turbo system is finally checked off the list.
I took some time to clean up the cast manifolds, and I think they turned out pretty good.
The fuel system is next, then the accusump, then final wiring.
This build has taken WAY too long, but I am excited to get it buttoned up.
