Certainly, but I suggest that you study turbos a bit more. They come in several flavors:
1) Spin up early, but peak out early (too much boost on top)
2) Spin up later, but peak out later (what you are seeking)
3) Twin systems, which have both
4) Type 1, but using a wastegate to limit top end boost.
Type 4 seems to be a good compromise between power and cost.

Go spend $24 and buy Corky Bells Maximum Boost. It breaks it down to understandable terms and was and still is the heat when it comes to turbo & F/I info.

blah i really think i want nitrous cause i dont have to read a book about it lol
yea im just trying to get an ideal not worth me gettin a book yet
and the motor is around a 10:1 compression so its not worth trying to boost
i thought about e85 but then if i travel i screwed when i cant find it
