Default Poll: Twin 67mm, Single T76, other. What would you do?

So I currently have planned my new build with a single T76mm turbo. But my friend asked why not twins? I started thinking and started searching on the forums, pros and cons of each right. What would you do and state why? My plans are to run about 15 psi or 650-700 whp which in my opinion are in the sweet spots for the twin 67s and the single 76.

Plans: Avg 15 or so PSI, street car, not much track use. I want more of top speed, rather than an ET

My choices:

Single T76 Ball bearing Garrett Turbo
Twin 67 bb Turbos.

If you have another opinion please go ahead and say it!

Just depends on your power goals. I did a single 76 instead of dual 60-1's, but as it turns out piping my specific project would have been much easier with twins, lol go figure. Mine is just a street car and is traction limited

Single BB t-76 will spool quicker. If you plan on turning up the boost the twins will make more power.

What's the displacement on the motor? And are you really going to be satisfied with 650-700 whp or are you secretly lusting for 800 (hence the 15 psi)?

For stock displacement motors, it sure seems like the T76 single is a great match.

a single will make that power, no need for twins unless u just want them.with twins its almost everything times 2.i would go with the single, more simple.

GT4088s thats what I'm going with. They're a little cheaper than the PT67s and will make close to the same power.

i went with the single route becuase with twins you have to do everything twice and cost twice as much. i could use that extra money on other things on the car. also DrTurbo tild me that the BB units on our engines are really not needed sine our engines are large enough to spool them quickly. the import crowd uses them because they need the extra help spoling them up to speed. do a search on BB vs journal

Single ST80 will obliterate any 76mm unit by 100hp and will spool just as quick. If not a TC76 is a great choice if your on a budget, and a 76GTS is a good performing unit as well. We have had great luck with all of them.
