I know Vseriestech is on a P1sc and he is most likely pushing 600+

I deff think its possible... even if you only get 550.. your only a 50 shot, or a little more boost, away from your goal.

600 RWHP is doable with a P1SC.

My car is a pussycat around town, very stealthy (by design). But when its time to "Play" its as fun as fun can be.....1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear are totally useless with the go pedal mashed (stock tires).....even in 4th gear she can get a bit squirrely.

The key to the P1 is the impeller RPM, on the GTO the crank pulley is only 7" trying to get a blower pulley small enough to rev up the blower will result in sub 3" pullies and most likely belt slip. I went with a custom 8" crank pulley from ASP....totally changed the way the P1 behaves, boost comes on much quicker due to the higher revs. My setup maxes out the P1 impeller at 6500 engine RPM....

Once my exhaust system is dialed in, the boost will go down some. I would expect by as much as 2psi....time will tell.

As for a P1 not being good for the 408???? it all depends on your goals and expectations. 600+ doable......700+ might be iffy, just too many variables...ie SCR, DCR, cam, heads, intake, exhaust etc....

I did 632/550 at 6,200 with 10psi boost restriced on my cam/exhaust only 02 Z06. The restrictor was subtracting 3lbs of boost and the cam pulled to 6,700. I was getting 23rwhp per lb of boost so do the math. I think at 6,700 with 13-14lbs I would have been over 700rw. I just wasn't willing to find out with the stock short block. I was running an A&A kit with a 3.85" pulley and a 224/228 .588/.595 114 cam with Supermaxx headers.

If you get an ECS boost restrictor you can pulley down and bump up that tq and still make that same hp up top. The curve ends up looking more like a N/A curve but you get alot more usable power. Just a thought.

To get the most horsepower out of the P series I would go for a higher compression ratio. 11.0/1 and methanol should do the job, and you'll get some good power out of it. Bob

I am unning a 3.85 pulley and seeing 11psi.

I am running the Alky Control meth kit, I highly recommend it with FI.

Default Another Procharged ZO6 by Late Model Speed - 645RWHP/579RWTQ @6PSI details inside

We just finished up another Procharger package for a customer. His car is a beautiful '08 Z06 model in Atomic Orange with the highly desireable comp grey wheels. We were able to see a little more RWHP on his car than usual, but I attribute this to the Corsa cat back exhaust system that he had us install. We normally just use the headers, X-pipe, and factory cat back. In this case, it seems the Corsa added roughly 20 RWHP! He also opted for the high temp header coating, and a set of our brand new custom coil/engine covers from Roto-Fab!

With permission, here's a dyno graph, and a few pics for you all to enjoy
