Mine has been running about 9-10 pounds. Did you actually confirm what springs were in your wastegates? Somebody mentioned awhile back that backpressure could be the cause of the overboost problem.

Interesting, I am running 10 lb springs in mine and the car consistently makes 11.5 psi. Not nearly as big of a difference as you are seeing though.

Big green or little green? Big is supposed to be 13.05 psi and little green is 7.25. If it's big green [I'm guessing that's what it is] The only reason you are not seeing 13 is because APS references the wastegate right at the compressor discharge.

.5 bar is about 7.5 psi. So they should have the right springs. You go to tial website it shows the different springs. I guess its possible the springs are wrong. Also couple other possiblities might be vacuum leak in the lines somewhere to the gates or connected to the gates. Some guys use zipties to hold the lines onto things securely or very small clamps.
Any chance its your gauge?

I'd take it off and check it with a regulated air source to see if it opens at 7.5 off the car and if it doesnt then its the wrong spring.

we hooked the dyno boost gauge to the intake and it said 12.46psi and right after that i check all line and it was good so it looks like springs

Isn't there a way to adjust the spring in the wastegate without changing the springs? I thought someone said you can twist something or spin something to adjust the spring load. That way you can fine tune them. I guess I got lucky and mine were set correctly. I didn't check them and they peak at 7.5-8psi. But I did get a PM to check them after I had my install finished and never got a chance to take them off to look. But when the car got tuned they seemed to be OK so I forgot about it.

They are simply big springs in the gates. Not much in there to play with and no adjustment .I think some guys do put in shims to get more boost but not less.
Usually tial gates are very good ,hopefully they will figure out whats up with the high boost. Not a good thing on a stock bottom engine for sure. I have seen many blown ringlands on stock hypercrap pistons.

Well the tial blowoffs are totally different springs and no adjustment either just like the tial gates. Nice and simple and usually super reliable thats tial stuff.

Default air pickup

try hooking up the wategate reference line as close as possible to the turbo. i.e. if you have 2-3 psi drop across your IC, then the pressure at the intake will be referenced to the turbo before the intercooler, so you will get less boost at the intake.

you have not seen a APS setup have you go to there website they have the installs step by step and you can see that the wastegate line comes right off the compresser side o the wastegate it cant be more than a foot

im going with springs at this piont thanks that is a good idea but it does not apply here
