Default ms4 supercharged?

i have a friend with a ms4 and he was wondering if he could also put a supercharger on it. or if he shold get a different cam?

Never seen it done but i bet itd be NASTY! lol will be puttin an ms4 in hopreully by end of summer myself.

i think its a great idea, i never understand why peopole put small cams in FI cars

i think the reason people put smaller cams in FI cars is because we dont need a huge cam to make big power, u dont need a big lopey cam that takes a bit of tuning to get to idle right.

if you are using a positive displacement supercharger, then hell yes. A centrifugal though I would def change it.

I would actually be interested in seeing a centrifical ran with it. Eb02z06 posted some pretty disturbing data as far as overlap goes.

I have a cam that is around the same specs as a MS3 but on a 114 and I am going to be putting on a A&A Vortech T-trim in the near future, so we will see how it does.

What do you mean by disturbing? As in like 7 lbs and 600rwhp? lol.

that seems to be the norm with donkey dick cams and small boost.

Not so much disturbing, but more so enlightening, not many people wanted to try a huge overlap cam with boost as they thought it might not work and was not worth the effort to swap it out.
