I blew out my 2 bar MAP sensor on my LS2 at the track last weekend. When I received the sensor, it did not come with a grommet, so I reused the stock one. Do I just need to get a new grommet, or do I need a new grommet and a way to hold the sensor in place better? Does anyone know the part number for this grommet?

The old grommet should be fine.

On my ls6 intake the sensor had some interference, an extra rib or tab on the sensor. I just trimmed it off so the sensor would sit flat like the stock one.

I went ahead and ordered a new grommet. The old one was actually torn near the top and part of the grommet is stuck to the intake. I am going to clean it up and replace it with a fresh one. It is a little loose on the FAST intake so I am thinking about using some Gorilla glue to hold it down even tighter.

Where did you order the grommet from? I have been looking here locally and no one seems to have it. Do you have a part number for it too?
