Default thinking of a whipple

i now have a 04 got ls1 in my truck{ dont think it matter, maybe} and i was thinking of buying a whipple from a friend. Now since these are flat top motors unlike the dish piston motors that the trucks come with, is the compression going to be to high? I know this is a stupid question to some but i just want to be sure. i would like to run at least 9 to 10 lbs of boost.
Also i have a comp 220/224 53? 542 on 112 ls cam. IS this cam going to work well with the super charger or should i just keep the spray? thanks in advance. BTw if it matters 91 is about the highest octane you can get where i live. a very few places have 93

safe on a ls1 is about 8lbs. with that cam you might be making too much power for the stock bottom end. also you will need fuel and a ton of other mods to supercharge it. Just stick with the juice. unless yuo want to to spend 5k. How much are you spraying?

EDIT seen your sig... Your going to kill the poor stock bottom end. lol. stock ls1s suck for any kind of boost or n2o... Unless you improve the bottom end..

Cam not good for that blower. I have personally tried a loose cam like that and lost power across the board. I am going back to my blower cam. Spray it or change cams.

At 9-10 psi boost, you're going to be on the ragged edge of 100% duty cycle. Add some alky to the mix and tune it for the boost you're going to run and you can pull it off.
