Default t-4

hey,i got a freind who bought a t-4 hybrid turbo, is this a good turbo for a ls1 all the info i have found says it is a import turbo. please let me know if you can help thanks

it is a garrett t-4 hybrid turbo thats all the info i can find on it

you need to give much more info. T4 is the size of the turbine housing/flange or the family of compressor wheels the turbo is from. Saying it's a T4 hybrid turbo is like saying "I own a car, guess what kind".

Only real way to get more info on the turbo is to pull the housing off and measure the inducer/excuders with a caliper and post the findings. 99% chance though that it is too small and is a t3/t4 (t3 hot side, t4 cold side) since you say it's a hybrid and for an import.

sorry i have never had a turbo our charged car and iam thinking of trying to build a turbo car
