403 w/ 98mm??
Deal came up on a thumper, I don't know if I'm ready to lose the street nature of my car but I'm wanting to be able to run up to my cage cert when I finish it on a small 275 radial.
What rpm would I see positive manifold pressure, or is it a moot point with the right converter? Turbo is a Innovative 98mm with precision 1.06 g-trim housing. 403, Allpro headed, TH400, Hydraulic roller car. Weighs 2950 or so and will probably be looking at 3150 raceweight when finished. Could something like that even be streeted?
I'm also considering twin 70's or 76's as well, but for a deal this good I really don't want to pass it up.

that a/r is way too small for a 408,would work good on something in the 360ci range, would spool up really hard and fast and then run out just as fast.I think you would be much better suited to an 88 or 91 with a 1.32 ar

it would probably make it to 7000 but would not be making any power, even worse the boost would be hard to control,it would try to spool up hard,on a radial you need to have precise control.

If your limit is 7000rpm and a Hydr. cam then jump on it if it is a deal. You will be fine.
By 7000rpm you are gonna make more power than you need on those 275 Radials and are gonna have you hands full anyway.
Have fun.
