i need opinions on LT's v. stock manifolds
hey guys...im running the STS kit on my 98 Z and when i dyno'd it it was dropping boost at 6200 rpm..we found the problem to be stock vavle springs and a new 6.0L is planned for the next project with a bigger turbo under the *** end...but how good would LT's work? i know for havin a stock engine manifolds are the way to go but i was going to wrap each header pipe and the exhaust all the way back when the new engine goes in...how well do u think that would work?...thanx for any input.

I am not an expert when it comes to the sts kits, but I do know the answer and that is stick with your manifolds! I don't think anyone recommends swapping the manifolds for lt headers until your CI get above 408. You could run a set of short tube headers and I do have a set I could sell you. Some JBA stainless, but that would only be for looks.
