I was actually looking at this car last night on PT. Did the 6.0 let loose?

yep, at 09 DragWeek.

We hurt it at Hebron, on the first run. Found a dirty fuel filter did the 6.0 in.

So we disconnected that cyl. fuel and spark, then drove it 200 miles to the last track. Made one run on seven cyl. (low 13@129) and then went for the 10.0 we needed for 2nd place(everything hooked back up) but in middle of second gear, it really broke. Number 7 cyl was completely gone, the rod and wrist pin were just swinging around in the bore by themselves, making big trenches in the cyl. walls.

Now, round two, with 100 lbs lighter engine.

And a brand new fuel filter!!!!

http://www.neufamily.org/images/67novagallery/

pics of the block and how it is mounted in the car are on the second page.

But if you are asking about pics of after the engine blew up, I don't have any, but maybe jim took some.

There were little piston pieces EVERYWHERE!!! I had lots of cleaning to do.

I forgot how long ago we did this to the Wagon...

That whole intake setup is now on a twin turbo Camaro I setup.

Both cars should be back out this spring.

Here is a shot of the Camaro.

It has been 9.0 @ 150 so far(on a stock cammed L33 5.3 liter)

I was curious how the dual fuel system with the methanol ever panned out?

What pumps, lines, and injectors can you use with methanol without having to purge them with gasoline afterwards? I might have something in mind if I can sell off some of my other junk. Lol
