Default working on 67nova with twins and dual fuel, lots of pics.

i thought i posted up on this over here but i can't find the thread.

we are just working a few hours a week on it and it is coming along nicely. we are really trying to make something that looks cool unlike the fairmont where the goal was fast and cheap. this is still on the cheap side but not super cheap like that car. i think it is going to look pretty mean when finished.

here is the complete gallery >> http://www.neufamily.org/images/67novagallery/

and a few of the better pics of the car. we picked it up cheap as a roller.

we are going to run an emspro wich is a juiced up megasquirt. 12 injectors. 4 primary units in the elbow and 8 in the intake. the 4 in the elbow will have pump gas and run the car most of the time and the 8 in the intake will probably run meth but may just be some kind of race fuel. the emspro can transition from one set of injectors to the other once the boost comes on.

for starters it will be a stock 6.0 other than an ls6 cam and good springs. a pair of sc61's for turbos. we want to push this set up and see what we can do with it. then down the road goto a built motor and some bigger turbos

that elbow is pretty sweet. got that from arron at intakeelbows.com. haven't decided on a converter yet but we will be running a 4l80e.

I'm digging the longroof...

You're pretty much doing the same thing I am with my 70' Nova, so needless to say, I'm subscribed.

Good luck with it. I can't wait to see some videos.

they sell the elbows lots of places and they are cheap. we got this stuff at mcmaster.com. the little ones were something like $7 each and are thick 304 stainless.

got some hole saws and die grinder tips from the same place, all about 1/2 the price of local stuff. look at the entire gallery if your interested in how it went together.

we plan on running meth as our 2nd fuel and with meth we shouldn't need an intercooler. we might start out with race gas and see how it all works. if all is going well then try the meth.

what kind of turbos are you running? Are they going to be ball bearing? if no , then why not a BOV?
