Question MagnaCharger kit, who's done it and how much $$/time

I like the idea of a roots supercharger however I haven't come across a setup that doesn't tear up the windshield until I found this video. Does anyone have this setup, how much time did it take, what needed to be done to shove it in, and most importantly where do you get it?

that's user Badmonkey's car. I got the same thing on my car, do a search in this forum for Magnacharger for tons more info. LM Speed is a sponsor on this site and he sells the kits for $6595 approx, with all of the hardware and wiring etc.

Damon, I spoke to him today, sounds like the ride has a good new home

Feel free to let us know if we can answer any questions about the kit,

How many questions can you have guys? If it's a kit, shouldn't it be pretty straightforward?

It's a kit yes, but it does take a little work to get it in. It's not like you are hacking up the windshield, and relocating the wiper arms like some earlier kits. If all you're doing is swapping out the intake for this kit, it could easily be done in a weekend, but it you're getting other parts installed at the same time then it could take a while.

Yeah but I thought this other guy bought the entire car. Why would he need to be getting in touch with Ed so much that he wonders if he's bothering him?

Because I didnt install the kit Ed did Then damon had it retuned and I wanted it back to where it was when it left his shop.

I also wanted all the pertinent info as if I had bought it myself. Like farmdawg said.

You wouldnt buy a kit w/out researching it first, right well I'm not going to race or pound on this car till I have all my ?s answered.

Gotcha. I didn't know there were any questions if it was already properly tuned and running correct.
