Default Some turbo Questions

ok im getting ready to start a twin turbo build on my 96 ws6. Im starting with some very basic questions after all the research ive done i just need it reassured for my own fears lol. Im going with log styled front mount exhaust manifolds. ALL exhasut gas is routed to the turbos? IN other words i just bolt the turbo to the manifold right? And then from there a pipe comes from each turbo, joins, and heads for the throttle body right? And this is all i need if i buy turbos with internal wastegates? And then from the other side of the propeller is the exhaust? So all my 4 inch piping from the other side with be routed to the back of my car as the new exaust? Like into cats and mufflers etc? Where does the BOV go? Or if i use an intercooler then the pipes go from the turbo to the intercooler to the throtle body? Is there a diagram somewhere or is someone in sac doing a build i can come check out? All this info is just getting crammed in my head and i think im overthinking and confusing myself.

Ok intercooler- do they make different intercoolers for twin turbo as opposed to single? Is there an intercooler i can buy that has two inlets and one outlet or do i have to join the pipes into one inlet? Do they make ones wh differently positioned outlets? i found this pichttp://images.turbomagazine.com/features/0307tur_05z+nissan_350z_greddy_twin_turbo+intercoo ler.jpg

but do they make them with a top center outlet so i could route it directly to my throttle body? Any one have any examples of a twin turbo log style set up?

yea ive searched and searched and searched and ive found tons of info but when it comes down to starting it it gets scary. I know single is easier but ive always always wanted a twin turbo car and i figure if youre going to do it, then just do it. I dont compromise when its my time sweat blood and money lol.

you will need 2 Wastegates. if you didnt know that already..

BOV goes before the Throttlebody after the outlet of the intercooler.
the oulet of the intercooler connects the the throttlebody

sweet thanks for the link ill read it very thoroughly. I can buy turbos with internal wastgates right? That way i dont have to incorporate them into my build i can just buy the turbos with them on? The only other thing im really curious about is the exhaust. The other side of the trubo is where the exhaust come from? So you route piping from the ohter side of the turbos into cats and mufflers and out the car?

yea you can get the turbos with internal WG,(APS KIT USES THEM). Yea the exhaust side of the turbos will go to the mufflers and out of the car this would be tricky you will have to decide to try to make them go under the k-member or around it.under will give you less ground clearance

ok so thats what the downpipe is. wow this is going to be crazy- especially if i try to keep it legal here in California. And some more advanced stuff-- how do i adjust/set/tune the wastegate to run a certain psi? Or do you buy them according? Is the hot parts the part from exhaust to turbo? and then the cold parts are from turbo to engine?

adjust/set psi is the wastegate is controlled by a spring in the actual unit you can buy different springs to adjust the psi that you want or you can get an adjustable boost controller and control it from that.controllers can be $$$starting out at 500 usually
