Default Forged Motor Build

Im looking to build a forged motor for an APS kit. What companies have people had sucess with? Looking for a fully forged shortblock. Any pros? cons?

Im looking for as much information as i can before i purchase anything.

I know alot of people go with the 408 from TSP. You would definatley make more power with that block but I think It would just be cheaper to just go with the stock LS1 block, hone it out to a 347, then forged pistons, rods, connecting rod bolts, crank, etc...

alot of good companies on here. I went with Weber. They were within driving distance to me and everything else fit my needs.
